Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for a teacher of Geography to join a secondary academy in south Manchester.

This is a full-time supply teaching role from September 2024 to July 2025.

The Role

Teacher of Geography

Five days a week

Delivery of outstanding lessons in key stage 3 and GCSE Geography

Calm confident behaviour management skills with a focus on Assessment for Learning

Innovative teacher able to adapt lessons to the changing needs of students .

Ability to teach other humanities subjects would be beneficial.

The academy are interested in hearing from Early Career Teachers, experienced QTS Teachers and FE qualified teachers with experience of teaching children aged 11-16.

To join us and be successful in this Geography Teacher role, you will need to:

Hold QTS Status or QTLS
Recent experience of teaching key stage 3 geography supported by references.
This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks.
Provide a CV with full employment/education history included and any employment breaks must be explained
Have the legal right to work in the UK with no restrictions
