Protocol Education is currently recruiting for a Learning Support Assistant/Teaching Assistant to join a Pupil Referral Unit in Southend.
You’ll be part of a dedicated and supportive team working with students who have social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs. While experience in this area is welcome, it's not essential — what matters most is your enthusiasm and willingness to help others.
We're looking for someone who brings a warm, positive attitude to learning and can build strong, trusting relationships with students. This role can be challenging, so resilience and a strong character are key.
This is a long-term, full-time opportunity, and we’re seeking candidates who are available Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
