Job Title: Air Conditioning (AC) Engineer – Service & Maintenance
Location: Covering Manchester & Leeds
Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent

About the Role:

Our client is seeking a skilled and reliable Air Conditioning Engineer to join our growing team, focusing on planned and reactive maintenance across a variety of commercial sites including schools, colleges, retail outlets, and office buildings. Working across the Manchester and Leeds regions, you'll be responsible for ensuring systems are operating efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

* Carry out routine servicing, fault finding, and repairs on a range of AC systems (e.g. split, multi-split, VRV/VRF).

* Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and respond to reactive maintenance calls.

* Diagnose and repair faults efficiently to minimise downtime for the client.

* Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety regulations and company standards.

* Maintain accurate service records and communicate effectively with clients and internal teams.

* Cover a variety of commercial sites including educational institutions, retail environments, and corporate offices.

Requirements:

* Proven experience as an Air Conditioning Engineer with a focus on service and maintenance.

* F-Gas Certification (2079) is essential.

* NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (or equivalent).

* Full UK driving licence.

* Strong fault-finding skills and the ability to work independently.

* Excellent communication and customer service skills
