Teaching with Purpose – Where It Matters Most
Are you ready for a new kind of teaching role this September — one that’s flexible, meaningful, and truly student-focused?
At SEND Inclusion Support, we’re looking for qualified teachers who want to make a genuine difference in the lives of young people across Tameside, Oldham, and surrounding areas. You’ll work outside the traditional classroom, delivering personalised 1:1 and small-group support in safe, nurturing environments like homes, libraries, and community hubs.
Due to the nature of the role, access to a vehicle is highly advantageous.
About Us
We specialise in working with learners with SEND, SEMH, and EBSA — many of whom are out of school or finding it hard to thrive in mainstream settings. Our approach is flexible, trauma-informed, and rooted in building strong, trusting relationships that help students re-engage with learning at their own pace.
What You’ll Do
*
Deliver bespoke, engaging lessons 1:1 or in small groups
*
Teach in community-based locations such as homes and libraries
*
Support students with a range of needs, including SEMH, ASD, ADHD, and EBSA
*
Build positive, trusting relationships with learners and their families
*
Work collaboratively with schools and professionals to support holistic progress
*
Track and celebrate progress — both academic and emotional
What You’ll Bring
*
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) – essential
*
Experience supporting SEND, SEMH, EBSA, or neurodiverse learners
*
Ability to work independently and adapt to different settings
*
A trauma-informed, student-centred approach to teaching
*
Empathy, patience, and strong communication skills
*
Access to a vehicle – advantageous due to travel requirements
Why Join Us?
*
September start – secure your next step ahead of time
*
Flexible work – full-time or part-time to suit your lifestyle
*
Calm, supportive learning environments – no classroom pressures
*
Friendly local team – with an open-door support network
*
High-quality planning resources – everything you need, ready to go
*
Regular teacher meetups – share ideas and stay connected
*
Ongoing CPD and training – keep growing in your role
*
Deeply rewarding work – help students rebuild confidence and trust
