The Role
We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Physics Teacher to join the science department from January to July 2026. The successful candidate will teach KS3 and KS4 Physics, with potential for some KS5 depending on experience. You will be expected to plan and deliver high-quality lessons, assess student progress, and contribute to the wider life of the department and school.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and differentiated Physics lessons across KS3–KS4 (and potentially KS5)
Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely feedback
Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives
Participate in school events, parent evenings, and CPD opportunities
Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment Role requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Strong subject knowledge in Physics
Experience teaching in UK secondary schools (preferred)
Passion for science education and student achievement
Excellent communication and organisational skills
