Job Title: Cache Level 3 Teaching Assistant

Year Groups or Key stages: Reception and Key Stage 1

Specialist Subjects: Early Years and KS1 Support

Location: Swaffham, Norfolk

Start Date: April (Easter), although could start sooner if able to

Salary: £18,000 to £25,000 DoE

Type: Permanent

Must have Cache Level 3 qualification

About the Role:

• Support Reception and KS1 pupils in the classroom

• Deliver small group and one-to-one interventions as directed by the class teacher

• Assist with early literacy and numeracy development

• Create a safe, nurturing and engaging learning environment

• Use your Cache Level 3 qualification to support child development

• Work in close collaboration with the teaching team and SENCo

The Requirements:

• Must hold a Cache Level 3 qualification in a relevant childcare or education field

• Experience working in EYFS or KS1 settings

• A calm, proactive and nurturing approach

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• A clear understanding of safeguarding responsibilities
