Educate Staffing is proud to be partnering with a welcoming and forward-thinking primary school in the heart of Hertford, to recruit a qualified Level 3 Nursery Practitioner for a full-time position starting in September 2025.

About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a nurturing and collaborative Early Years team in a well-resourced school that places the development and wellbeing of children at the heart of everything it does. You will be responsible for creating an engaging, safe, and inclusive environment where children aged 0–5 can thrive in their early development.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver creative, age-appropriate activities aligned with the EYFS framework

*

Provide a warm, supportive, and inclusive environment where every child feels valued

*

Observe, assess, and document children’s development and progress regularly

*

Maintain effective communication with parents and carers regarding children’s learning and wellbeing

*

Collaborate closely with colleagues to create a consistent and positive learning experience

*

Ensure a high standard of safeguarding, health, and safety in line with statutory requirements

Candidate Requirements

*

A recognised Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education (or equivalent)

*

Proven experience working within a nursery or early years setting

*

A sound knowledge of the EYFS and principles of child development

*

A professional, child-centred, and proactive approach to early education
