Cabinet Maker - Near Southminster - Up to £14 per hour

Our client, a well-established manufacturing company based near Southminster, is seeking a Cabinet Maker to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional with previous experience of cabinet making and using an edgebander.

Salary & Hours:

Up to £14.00 per hour (depending on experience)

40-hour working week: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm

Permanent position (subject to a 13-week probationary period)

Key Responsibilities:

Cabinet assembly and woodworking tasks

Drawer and door preparation, including drilling and hinging

Using an Edgebander

Quality control checks

Pre-assembly and workshop preparation

Loading finished products into vans

Manual handling and lifting as required

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Proven experience in cabinet making or a similar woodworking environment

A keen eye for detail and craftsmanship

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Experience in the kitchen or fitted furniture industry (advantageous but not essential)

A proactive and positive approach under pressure
