Primary School Teaching Assistant Year 1 - Shrewsbury

Are you a Teaching Assistant looking for a new role supporting pupils in a Primary School class?

I am currently recruiting for a Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant to support a Primary School Year 1 class in Shrewsbury. Starting a long-term position from September and it will be 5 days a week.

Aspire people have worked with this school for a while and feedback is always positive from those we have placed in the school.

As an agency employed TA, the schools will expect you to maintain the standards of a permanent member of staff so the following is expected:

Strong curriculum knowledge.
Minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant / Childcare qualification.
Experience within a Primary School (6+ months)
Regular assessments of pupils.
Able to engage in learning activities.
Confident with personal care.

Our Shropshire team will be available 24/7 for you should you need support with anything.
The pupils within the school are brilliant, enthusiastic and well-behaved who love to learn and are friendly and positive with a caring ethos, highly committed, caring and extremely motivated staff members to help and the staff always make the children feel and safe and welcomed.
