Role: Junior Project Manager

Location: Preston (hybrid, 2 days onsite)

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000

Are you an ambitious early-career project professional looking for a chance to grow within a fast-paced tech start-up? A forward-thinking business in Preston is hiring a Junior Project Manager to support their delivery team across several exciting new client projects.

The Role:

Reporting into the Head of Projects, you'll assist in the coordination and execution of various software and data-led projects. This is a hands-on role that offers plenty of mentoring and a clear growth pathway into a full PM role. You'll be involved in stakeholder engagement, planning, documentation and supporting Agile ceremonies.

The Client:

Our client is a VC-backed start-up delivering AI-powered solutions for the logistics and transport sector. With a product gaining serious traction, this is a fantastic time to join a business in scale-up mode, working alongside senior leaders and subject matter experts.

Requirements:

1-2 years of experience in a project delivery environment
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Comfortable liaising with both internal and external stakeholders
Keen to grow within a dynamic and fast-paced setting

Desirable:

Exposure to software, SaaS or tech environments
Experience with tools like Jira, Confluence or Trello
