The purpose of the Management Accountant is to provide support to the Finance Director and the wider finance team:
Preparing monthly management accounts
Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
Foreign currency management
Invoice discounting submissions
Processing rebates
Stock reconciliations
VAT Returns
Management of the Assistant Accountant
Cover for P/L and S/L if required
Other ad hoc duties as required

The successful candidate will be qualified or studying towards a professional qualification, CIMA or ACCA
Staff management experience is required
Must be able to work on your initiative and not be afraid to make suggestions/improvements
Good IT skills are essential including Excel
Prior use of Sage is desirable
