Mechanical Fitter – Precision Engineering
Location: Redhill, Surrey
Salary: £30,000 – £33,000
Hours: Mon–Thu: 8am–4.30pm Fri: 8am–4pm (39 hrs/week)

Are you a mechanically minded professional with a keen eye for precision? this is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established UK manufacturer working on complex Electromechanical Systems. 

What You’ll Be Doing:
Building and assembling precision mechanical and pneumatic components

Fitting parts including wiring looms and digital displays to high standards

Using tools such as pillar drills, manual lathes, and hand tools

Reading engineering drawings and checking assemblies to tight tolerances

Keeping workstations clean and organised, and participating in stock counts

What We’re Looking For:
NVQ / BTEC / HNC / HND or relevant hands-on experience in mechanical engineering

Confident using precision measuring tools (e.g. micrometers, verniers)

Able to interpret general assembly drawings and follow build instructions

Team player with a proactive, detail-focused attitude

Knowledge of workshop health & safety practices
