We're seeking enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants to join the SEND department at mainstream secondary schools in Bristol and North Somerset. These classroom-based roles will commence in September and extend throughout the academic year.
If you have experience supporting children or young people in schools, colleges, or HEIs, this could be a fantastic opportunity for you. The school is also keen to consider graduates from any discipline who may be interested in training to become teachers.

This role requires a genuine passion for supporting young and vulnerable students in their academic journey. The school values the contributions of its LSAs, recognizing their impact on students’ learning and development. As an LSA, you will play a key role in shaping students' experiences and fostering their success.
The Ideal Candidate
To be considered, you should demonstrate:

Experience and knowledge of working with SEND pupils with learning differences (Desirable)

The ability to support students in various settings: one-on-one, group work, and in-classroom assistance

Initiative and leadership in setting a positive example for pupils
*
A friendly and professional approach to your work

Strong time management and organizational skills
*
A consistently professional demeanor
Psychology graduates and those aspiring to train as teachers are particularly encouraged to apply.
