£43,000–£46,000 + Bonus | Flexible & Hybrid Working | 35 hrs/week (0.8 FTE considered)

Our client is a mission-driven, charity-specialist audit and accountancy practice based in Bristol, working with over 250 charities and non-profit organisations across the UK. We’re looking for an Audit Senior or Assistant Manager who shares their passion for the sector and commitment to excellence.

What You’ll Bring
*
ACA or ACCA qualification and previous experience as an Audit Senior or Assistant Manager in a small or mid-tier firm
*
A genuine passion for the charity sector, with experience auditing charities and preparing accounts under the Charity SORP (strongly desirable)
*
Warm and confident communication style and proven ability to build strong client relationships
*
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and deliver under pressure
*
Comfortable providing training and mentoring to junior team members
*

Key Responsibilities
*
Lead audit engagements for a portfolio of charity and non-profit clients
*
Advise on financial reporting in line with Charity SORP and regulatory requirements
*
Manage client relationships, proactively identifying opportunities to add value beyond audit
*
Mentor and support junior staff, helping them grow and improve
*
Contribute to continuous improvement of audit processes and firm-wide initiatives
