This is a hybrid role requiring you to be in the office for 3 days per week.

Hackney Council also has the biggest cycle hangar programme in London, with over 1000 hangars now in operation.

If so, we want to hear from you. We have a fantastic opportunity for 2 Cycle Hangar Officers in our Parking Operations team.

As a Cycle Hangar officer, you will be responsible for all back-office aspects of the council's cycle hangar service, ensuring the service is delivered efficiently and to a high standard at all times achieving high levels of customer satisfaction.

We are looking for highly organised individuals that have proven experience in providing excellent service with a genuine desire to help customers, have an eye for detail, enjoy being part of a team and are able to work in a pressurised environment.

You will need to have excellent communication skills as you will be dealing with queries from our diverse community of residents. The role requires the successful candidate to respond clearly to emails and telephone requests and build close relationships with other Council departments. You will have the ability to investigate complex queries and provide a fair outcome to our customers and you must be able to demonstrate this across all channels and within a diverse customer group.

The ideal candidate must be able to work well in a high pressure and fast paced environment. You must have a flexible approach to your work whilst being able to plan and prioritise workloads efficiently and effectively to ensure that tight deadlines are met. In this role it is crucial for you to maintain high levels of service standards at all times.

You must have experience in the use of a variety of IT packages, specifically Google suite, with experience of google forms an advantage. You will have previous extensive experience of using spreadsheets to record information accurately and analyse the data when required.

You will take responsibility for continually improving our service performance to meet the varying demands of our customers, ensuring we get it right the first time.
