We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Science Teacher to join our supportive team at a specialist Alternative Provision in Poole. Our setting caters for pupils aged 11–16 who require a nurturing and structured environment to thrive academically and emotionally.
About the Role:
Deliver engaging and accessible science lessons tailored to a range of learning needs
Foster a safe, supportive, and inspiring learning environment
Work collaboratively with pastoral and therapeutic teams to support the holistic development of each student
Promote high expectations and positive behaviour through consistent relationships and clear boundaries
We’re Looking For Someone Who:
Holds QTS (or equivalent) with a strong subject knowledge in Science
Has experience (or a genuine interest) in working with young people with SEMH needs
Demonstrates patience, flexibility, and resilience
Is committed to helping every learner achieve their potential—academically and personally
