A well-established packaging machinery manufacturer is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join their growing UK service team. This is an exciting opportunity for a multi skilled engineer (Mechanical bias) to join a respected manufacturer supplying industrial bag closing and packaging machinery across multiple sectors including food, agriculture and chemicals.
Field Service Engineer
£40,000 – £48,000 + Overtime + Door-to-Door Pay + Company Vehicle
Location: Northwest
Door-to-door pay (paid from the moment you leave home)
Overtime available
23 days holiday plus bank.
Company van provided
7:00am–4:00pm or 8:00am–5:00pm working hours

Responsibilities
Installing, servicing, maintaining and repairing industrial bagging and packaging machinery at customer sites across the UK.
Carrying out mechanical work including chains, bearings, sprockets, gearboxes, belts, shafts and general moving components.
Working with pneumatics and mechanical drive systems.
Supporting basic electrical fault finding when required (motors, sensors, drives).
Diagnosing and resolving faults with minimal supervision.
Interpreting mechanical drawings and basic electrical schematics.
Delivering high levels of customer service and representing the business professionally on site.
Key Requirements
2+ years’ experience in a mechanical engineering role (packaging experience advantageous but not essential).
Strong mechanical fault-finding ability.
Experience working on industrial machinery.
Intermediate electrical knowledge (1-phase / 3-phase) beneficial.
Engineering qualification Level 3 or above (mechanical preferred).
Comfortable working independently in a field-based position.
Full UK driving licence.
