Join an award-winning international architectural studio as Head of Finance, reporting directly to the Founder and CEO. This is a key leadership role at a pivotal time, as the practice enters a new phase of transformational growth.

We're seeking a strategic, commercially minded finance leader to drive sustainable, profitable development through robust financial planning and execution.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead financial strategy, planning, and reporting across the firm

* Deliver accurate reports: P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, KPIs

* Manage budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning

* Ensure compliance and strong internal controls

* Oversee accounting, payroll, legal/insurance, and financial systems

* Support cross-departmental decision-making and instil financial discipline

* Coach senior leaders in budgeting and commercial best practices

* Guide due diligence for investment or ownership changes

Ideal Candidate:

* Qualified finance professional (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)

* Experience in architecture, design, or engineering sectors

* Strategic, detail-oriented, and commercially astute

* Skilled in simplifying complex financial data

* Collaborative, confident, and purpose-driven

* Proven track record of driving performance in creative environments

Preferred Experience:

* 10+ years in financial leadership

* Familiar with project-based systems (e.g. Rapport3)

* Strong UK accounting and tax knowledge

* Experience in creative or design-led businesses

* Exposure to capital raising, governance, or transformation
