Cover Supervisor – Hemel Hempstead

Keep Education are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to support Secondary Schools in Hemel Hempstead and the surrounding areas. This role is ideal for graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced classroom supervisors looking for flexible and rewarding work.

Key Responsibilities

* Supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring students remain focused and complete set work.

* Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials and support student engagement.

* Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.

* Provide feedback to teachers and senior staff on student progress and behaviour.

* Follow safeguarding, health & safety, and school procedures at all times.

Education & Experience

* Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.

* A-Levels or a Degree preferred.

* Previous experience working with children or young people in an educational setting is desirable (e.g., Teaching Assistant, Youth Worker, Sports Coach).

* Classroom management experience is advantageous but not essential – full guidance provided.
