Website Manager – Travel Industry
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Website Manager to join this successful, dynamic travel company. This newly created role offers the chance to lead the strategic direction, technical management, and ongoing enhancement of its customer-facing website across desktop and mobile platforms. This pivotal role ensures the site remains high-performing, secure, and fully optimised for user experience and compliance. This is a permanent position based in central Brighton, Monday to Friday, hybrid working. Salary of £35,000–£45,000 depending on experience.
Website Manager – Role & Responsibilities:
Working closely with the Digital Marketing Manager, the Website Manager will play a key role in improving SEO performance and refining the customer journey. Acting as the central point of contact between internal teams, developers, and technical partners, the role blends hands-on technical execution with strategic oversight to drive digital growth. Core responsibilities include optimising website performance, managing third-party integrations and APIs, overseeing tracking infrastructure, leading UX and CRO initiatives, and ensuring GDPR and cybersecurity compliance.
Lead the day-to-day management and strategic development of the company’s website
Collaborate closely with digital marketing, product, and external development teams
Drive improvements in website performance and user experience (UX)
Implement and monitor conversion rate optimisation (CRO) strategies
Oversee technical SEO and ensure ongoing site health
Maintain website security, GDPR compliance, and accessibility standards
Identify and execute opportunities for innovation and growth
Website Manager – Skills & Experience Required:
Proven experience in website management and development
Strong understanding of UX principles and customer journey optimisation
Hands-on expertise in technical SEO and CRO
Familiarity with third-party integrations, APIs, and troubleshooting
Ability to work effectively with developers and technical partners
Experience in the travel industry is advantageous but not essential

Salary range: £35,000–£45,000 depending on experience
Full-time 9 to 5 (with some flexibility) or part-time considered
