Site Supervisor - Concrete Repairs | Bristol
Location: Bristol
Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience
My client is currently seeking a skilled Site Supervisor to join their growing team, delivering high-quality concrete repair projects in the Bristol area. The successful candidate will support the day-to-day running of site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with project specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
·Delegate tasks and oversee the performance of site operatives
·Represent my client at site meetings and liaise with stakeholders
·Motivate, coach, and guide operatives on site
·Supervise sub-contractors and ensure quality standards are met
·Maintain accurate site documentation including site diaries, labour/plant returns, delivery notes, and QA records
·Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and safety inspections
·Raise requisitions for materials, plant, and PPE
·Maintain photographic records of works and progress
·Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with RAMS and project requirements
·Promote a clean, organised, and safe working environment
·Uphold high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance in line with company procedures
Knowledge and Experience Required:
·Practical knowledge of key concrete repair methods:
oBreakout & Repair Preparation
oWater Pressure Cleaning
oHand Placed Repairs (Basic & Complex)
oBasic Shutter Repairs
oLevel and Fairing Coats
oPainting
Skills and Attributes:
·Ability to interpret and work from Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS)
·Strong supervisory and mentoring abilities
·Confident communicator with clients, supply chain partners, and the wider site team
Qualifications:
·CSCS Gold Card - achieved or working towards
·SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme)
·NVQ Level 3 in Occupational Work Supervision or equivalent - achieved or working towards
·First Aid at Work
·CITB Health & Safety Awareness
·SEATS (Site Environmental Awareness Training Scheme) - desirable
·Full UK Driving Licence
