Apricus Resourcing are currently looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic and adaptable Housing Maintenance Surveyor for a leading Social Supported Housing Service based in DH1 Post Code Area Longrock of Durham City Centre, who is really passionate about providing a personal recovery service. This role is working full time with standard hours 37.5 hours per week Monday – Friday 9am-5pm.

o We’ll keep the customer experience at the forefront of our minds at all times, acting quickly when things go wrong, taking ownership and accountability to put things right through collaborative working, clear communication and keeping accurate records.
o We’ll stand by the work we deliver, with the knowledge that we’re prioritising the right tasks, at the right time, for the right reasons – working to our Operational plan.
o We’ll forge strong and positive relationships with contractors and colleagues across the business, enhancing our reputation for delivering a service that strives to get things ‘right first time’ and understanding how the part we play fits into the wider organisational goals.
o We won’t accept poor performance in our properties so we’ll regularly carry out audits and post-inspections to make sure we’re satisfied with the quality and condition of work, in adherence to legislation and statutory compliance. We’ll quickly address and resolve any work or conditions that have fallen short of our standards.
o Working with others across maintenance and the wider operations directorate to collaborate with key stakeholders ensuring end to end completion of works with strong customer and colleague communication throughout is vital.

In return for your commitment, we are able to offer a very competitive rate of pay of between £21.00 per hour.
