Our client are a well-established Mechanical and Electrical Services Contractor. Due to continued expansion and success, we’re looking for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join their growing team, supporting projects across Oxfordshire and Reading.

Your Role

As a Commercial Gas Engineer, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality gas installation, maintenance, and repair services across a range of commercial environments in various locations. You’ll work closely with our Senior Mechanical Contracts Managers and Site Managers to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

Carrying out commercial gas installations and upgrades.

*

Performing servicing, pre-planned maintenance, and reactive callouts.

*

Diagnosing and repairing faults efficiently to minimise downtime.

*

Conducting gas leak detection, pressure testing, flue testing, servicing, certification, and gas purging.

*

Completing all required reports and Gas Safety Certificates accurately and on time.

*

Maintaining clear job records, ordering parts when needed, and communicating effectively with managers.

*

Ensuring all work complies with current health & safety and industry regulations.

What We’re Looking For

You’ll be a qualified and experienced Commercial Gas Engineer who takes pride in their work and enjoys working both independently and as part of a close-knit team.

Essential qualifications & experience:

*

Fully qualified with proven experience in commercial gas engineering.

*

Valid ACS Commercial and Domestic Gas certificates, including:

*

CCN1, COCN1, CDGA1, CIGA1, ICPN1, TPCP1A, CENWAT1, CPA1

*

Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.

*

Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

*

Full UK driving licence.

*

CSCS card holder

*

Must be willing to undergo DBS check
