Cover Supervisor

Are you confident, adaptable, and passionate about supporting young learners? A vibrant secondary school in Lichfield is looking to appoint a reliable and proactive Cover Supervisor to work with students across Key Stages 3 and 4.

This is an ideal role for aspiring teachers, recent graduates, or experienced support staff who are looking to gain valuable classroom experience.

? The Role:

Supervise classes in the absence of teaching staff, ensuring pupils remain on task with set work.

Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policy.

*

Provide feedback to teaching staff on student engagement and progress.

*

Support the wider school team in ensuring a positive learning environment.

? Requirements:

Experience working with young people in a school or similar setting is desirable.

*

Strong classroom presence and good behaviour management skills.

*

Confidence in delivering pre-prepared lesson materials.

*

A calm, professional, and flexible approach to supporting student learning.

*

Minimum of 5 GCSEs (including English and Maths); a degree is beneficial but not essential
