Job Title: Primary Teacher (Maternity Cover)

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, positive, and caring Primary Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive school team to cover a period of maternity leave. This role would suit a teacher who brings both energy and calm confidence to the classroom and is committed to providing high-quality learning experiences for all pupils.
The successful candidate will be teaching in Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2, so flexibility and confidence in working across early and later primary phases are essential.

Role Responsibilities
The successful Teacher will:
Deliver high-quality teaching across KS1 and KS2
Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons aligned with the primary curriculum
Maintain clear expectations for learning, behaviour, and classroom routines
Create a calm, inclusive, and positive learning environment
Assess, monitor, and support pupil progress effectively
Work collaboratively with colleagues to support continuity and consistency
Contribute positively to wider school life
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Secure classroom practice and strong behaviour management
Experience or confidence teaching across different primary age phases
High expectations for pupil achievement and engagement
A warm, caring, and professional approach
Strong communication and organisational skills
A willingness to be flexible and get involved in school life
A steady, calm presence that supports pupils' wellbeing
