Lead FEA Simulation Engineer - Mechanical Engineering

A global engineering and manufacturing leader is seeking an experienced Lead FEA Simulation Engineer to join their advanced simulation team. This is a great opportunity to influence major design and production decisions with high-value impact.

The Role

* Build and run FEA simulations (mainly structural) and present clear results

* Support Product Development teams with design analysis

* Provide technical insight to resolve manufacturing and performance issues

* Ensure high standards of safety, engineering quality and best practice

What You’ll Need

* Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)

* Strong industrial experience with FEA

* Expert user of Abaqus CAE

* SolidWorks experience

* Confident with hand calculations and experimental validation

* Strong problem-solving and statistical skills (Six Sigma Black Belt desirable)

* Excellent communication and ability to work under pressure

Nice to Have

* CEng or NAFEMS PSE

* Experience in sheet metal forming, polymer modelling or materials testing

* Additional language skills
