Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a leading supplier of industrial batteries and related products. Operating within a number of industries, they are now looking to bring on a Field Service Engineer to work within their Motive Power division, covering the client base across Northern Ireland. With a competitive base salary and overall package, this would be a great opportunity for an experienced engineer with a background working on Forklift Batteries.

Responsibilities

Servicing the company’s client base across Northern Ireland and The Republic of Ireland on occasion
Repairing and maintaining the company’s broad range of batteries and chargers used within the Material Handling industry
Working alongside the other field-based engineers across Scotland to ensure maintenance is carried out efficiently
Reporting back to the Service Manager with regular updates
Representing the company in the right way on customer sites and always maintaining customer serviceRequirements

The company are ideally looking to bring on a candidate with a strong background of maintaining batteries within the Motive Power industry. It is essential that you hold suitable qualifications to align with the requirements of the job such as an NVQ, Diploma or similar. In terms of location, you will need to be based in Northern Ireland. You must also be willing to travel into The Republic of Ireland on occasion.
