Are you an experience Injection Mould Tool Setter looking for an opportunity to excel? ASL Technical are working with a leading manufacturer of plastic systems used in the hygiene industry. Due to excellent company performance, our customer is looking to expand their machine shop team with an experienced Injection Mould Tool Setter
Main Purpose of the Injection Mould Tool Setter:
Operating a range of injection moulding machines, ancillaries and automated assembly machines
Ensure machinery is safe, checked in accordance with maintenance and the machinery directive.
To assist with introduction of new tooling, products and equipment.
Lead technical and lean improvement projects.
Mentor and support trainees through a development program
Key Accountabilities:
Maintain a safe, healthy, clean and tidy environment for yourself and others.
Support company culture and employee best practice completing mould tool setting and tool changes conforming to safe working practices and procedures.
Initiate continuous improvement, where necessary, in order to achieve increased production rates while maintaining high quality standards.
Work closely with the Production Managers and your colleagues to implement process improvements to injection moulding, waste elimination and improving product flow.
Support the training and development of apprentice or trainee setters.
Person Specification:
ASL Technical are keen to talk to individuals who have experience of working with Injection Mould Machines. You will be a self-motivated individual, with the ability to work closely with a variety of colleagues across a variety of functions including manufacturing and support.
Individuals who have an understanding of quality improvement processes such as 6s, Kaizen would be preferential, but not essential.
