We are seeking a highly motivated Chemistry Teacher for a part-time, temporary position starting ASAP at an 'Outstanding' girls' school in Harrow. The ideal candidate will be passionate about Chemistry and able to deliver inspiring lessons that encourage scientific inquiry and critical thinking.

What you'll be doing:

* You'll be planning and delivering dynamic Chemistry lessons, making complex scientific concepts both accessible and exciting for girls.

* It's about conducting practical experiments, encouraging rigorous scientific inquiry, and developing students' analytical and problem-solving skills in a lively classroom.

* You'll contribute to the wider life of the Science department, perhaps assisting with science clubs or engaging in research projects.

What we're looking for:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a specialism in Chemistry.

* Experience teaching inspiring and effective Chemistry lessons at Key Stages 3 and 4 is highly desirable.

* A deep and current understanding of the Chemistry curriculum and excellent laboratory skills.

* Strong communication skills, effective classroom management, and a genuine ability to inspire scientific curiosity.
