Senior Commercial Manager – Infrastructure Projects (MEP focus)

Location: Based near Derby

Salary: Up to £75,000 + car allowance + private medical + excellent benefits

Want to step into a role with real commercial ownership? This is a strategic Senior Commercial Manager position overseeing live projects, bid reviews, and contract negotiations across a growing infrastructure division.

You’ll work closely with the Operations Director and take ownership of the commercial function—from CVRs and risk registers through to mentoring junior staff and negotiating high-value contracts.

The project portfolio spans defence, energy, healthcare, and rail. A background in MEP building services is ideal, but we’re also open to main contractor professionals who have managed MEP packages.

What we’re looking for:

* Proven commercial leader with contract negotiation experience

* Confident working across CVRs, risk, procurement, and live project reviews

* Able to lead, coach, and support junior QSs and Commercial Managers

* Comfortable working on secure/regulated projects (defence/energy)

* Ideally MEP background – or strong understanding of building services

* Typical project values range from £1m to £40m.
