Job Title: Part-Time General Caretaker (Self-Employed)

We are a small, friendly private apartment community in Cheltenham, consisting of 31 flats, and we are looking for a reliable General Caretaker to help maintain the building and surrounding areas.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys keeping busy, takes pride in their work, and enjoys a varied role. It would also suit someone looking to scale back from full-time work while still staying active.

All tools and equipment will be provided.

? Key Responsibilities:

Keeping communal areas clean, tidy, and presentable

*

General upkeep and basic maintenance of the building

*

Garden maintenance and outdoor area care

*

Carrying out small ad-hoc tasks as required

*

Monitoring the condition of the building and reporting any issues

*

Helping to maintain a safe and pleasant environment for residents

Must be self-employed

Reliable, trustworthy, and well-organised

Able to work independently and manage time effectively

Practical, hands-on approach to general maintenance

Friendly and respectful when interacting with residents

Previous caretaking, maintenance, or handyman experience is beneficial but not essential
