The Role

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic KS1 Teacher to join a supportive primary school in Islington (EC1M).

You will deliver high-quality teaching to children in Years 1 and 2, helping them achieve their academic and personal potential. This is an excellent opportunity for teachers seeking long-term placements or agency-supported roles in a vibrant London school.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum for KS1.

Monitor pupil progress and provide targeted support to ensure all children achieve their potential.

Create a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment.

Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.

Collaborate with staff and leadership to support school initiatives and maintain high standards.

Requirements

✅ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
✅ Experience teaching KS1 pupils (Years 1–2)
✅ Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and assessment requirements
✅ Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
✅ Passion for teaching and commitment to children’s learning and development
