Marketing Manager (B2B – Standalone Role)

Uttoxeter (with some travel and hybrid flexibility)
£45,000 (DOE) Bonus and Benefits

OverviewWe are recruiting on behalf of a growing UK business seeking a skilled Marketing Manager to take ownership of their end-to-end marketing strategy. This is a standalone role, ideal for a digital marketing professional with a strong B2B background who enjoys autonomy, strategy, and hands-on delivery.

Reporting to the Director of Marketing at group level, you will be based at the Uttoxeter site and collaborate closely with the wider UK marketing team. You will also have access to shared resources including graphic design, photography, and a marketing executive for content support. While you won’t have direct reports, you will play a key role in business development and lead generation activity.

Key Responsibilities
Manage and continually improve the company website as a lead generation tool, working with an external digital agency on UX and conversion optimisation

Develop and execute a robust SEO strategy with agency support

Oversee paid media campaigns (PPC), monitoring performance and ROI, and contributing to group-level strategy

Create regular marketing reports for internal stakeholders including the board and sales teams

Maximise use of HubSpot CRM for marketing automation, email workflows, and customer segmentation

Develop digital content including blogs, case studies, and thought leadership material

Own and execute the social media strategy, overseeing content calendars and campaigns

Work with the sales team to identify project photography opportunities and stakeholder engagement

Support business development and brand awareness through trade shows and industry association events

Coordinate post-project customer satisfaction surveys

Conduct competitor analysis, industry research, and market monitoring

Provide occasional marketing support to other UK group business units when needed

The candidateWe are seeking an experienced, commercially focused marketer with strong digital skills and a background in B2B lead generation. You should be confident working independently and passionate about aligning marketing to business goals.

Essential Skills & Experience
Minimum 3 years in a B2B marketing role with lead generation focus

Experience in SEO and PPC campaign delivery (agency collaboration welcome)

Strong content creation and website optimisation experience

Proficiency with CRM systems (HubSpot preferred) and data-driven marketing

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Strong organisation, multitasking, and attention to detail

Confident working with internal stakeholders, including sales and senior leadership

Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel occasionally

Desirable Skills
Exhibition and trade show coordination

Photography skills or visual content direction

Experience using Adobe InDesign

Experience in competitor research or market analysis
