Job Overview:

We are currently seeking a proactive and technically skilled Semi-Senior Account Manager to join our team.

This role is ideal for a part-qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA) or someone with relevant practice experience looking to advance their career within a dynamic firm. You’ll work closely with senior accountants and managers to deliver outstanding service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare year-end statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders.

* Assist in managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring deadlines are met and client expectations exceeded.

* Handle bookkeeping, VAT returns, and management accounts as required.

* Liaise directly with clients to gather information, resolve queries, and provide financial insights.

* Assist in mentoring junior staff and reviewing their work where appropriate.

* Work with senior managers on ad-hoc advisory or project-based assignments.

Requirements:

* Part-qualified ACA/ACCA or qualified by experience.

* Minimum 2–4 years of experience in a UK-based accounting practice.

* Strong understanding of accounting principles and relevant regulations.

* Proficiency with accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage.

* Excellent time management and organisational skills.

* Strong written and verbal communication skills.

* A team player with a client-first attitude
