FIND are delighted to be representing an Ofsted graded Outstanding national training provider to hire a new Skills and Development Coach.
The role is home based with 1 or 2 office based days each month in Birmingham.
Founded in 2007, our client is an award-winning, UK-based provider of predominantly accountancy training and apprenticeships that has recently extended its services to offer skills and qualifications across the financial, leadership and digital sectors.
The role of the Skills and Development Coach has a primary focus of supporting a caseload of apprentices in order to ensure they are on track throughout the programme and complete on time. The Skills Coach is the main point of contact for the apprentices and has a central role in liaising with the employer, the tutors and the client team to support and guide their apprentices best.
Duties
Work for an OFSTED Outstanding provider that puts people first (the learner and YOU).

Support a caseload of L3/4/7 accountancy apprentices working for some of the biggest names in practice and industry.
Hold regular review meetings with learners and line managers.
Guide learner development through their programme using our bespoke e-portfolio system, including giving feedback on portfolio submissions (non-technical).
Monitor learner progression to ensure they reach their highest potential in all the knowledge, skills, and behaviours of the apprenticeship standards.
Support apprentices through to End Point Assessment.
Keep excellent records and relevant trackers up to date.
Be able to develop yourself in many additional areas - and have fun while doing it! Requirements
Essential skills
Ability to inspire, influence and motivate, with an enthusiasm for learning
Effective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
Confident and professional, as you will be representing the brand to clients and apprentices.
Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
Ability to manage own workload.
Microsoft literate (Excel, Outlook) Desirable
Accountancy background or knowledge
Understanding of the accountancy sector
