Chemistry Teacher – Outstanding School – Surrey

An Outstanding Ofsted-rated secondary school in Surrey requires a skilled and passionate Chemistry Teacher to join their high-achieving Science department. This is a full-time, permanent position, teaching across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. The school is dedicated to providing a stimulating and challenging science education.

Responsibilities:

The appointed Chemistry Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons that meet curriculum requirements and examination board specifications (GCSE and A-Level). You will create a safe and engaging learning environment, promoting scientific inquiry and a deep understanding of chemical concepts. Assessing student progress rigorously, providing effective feedback, and contributing to the development of the Chemistry curriculum are vital parts of the role for any Chemistry Teacher.

Requirements:

Applicants must be a qualified Chemistry Teacher (QTS) with a degree in Chemistry or a closely related field. Proven experience teaching Chemistry at the secondary level, including A-Level, is essential. Strong subject knowledge, a passion for chemistry, and excellent communication and classroom management skills are required. We are looking for an inspiring Chemistry Teacher.
