We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Psychology Teacher to join an Outstanding secondary school in Birmingham. The successful candidate will be expected to teach Psychology across Key Stages 4 and 5, with potential for KS3 Humanities involvement depending on experience. The Humanities department is a vibrant and forward-thinking team with excellent leadership and strong student outcomes. Experience and Qualifications
• Qualified Psychology teacher with the ability to teach at GCSE and A-Level
• A strong academic background in Psychology or a related subject
• PGCE or QTS
• Demonstrated passion for the subject and a commitment to delivering high-quality lessons
• Eligible to work in the UK
Specific Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver engaging Psychology lessons tailored to a range of learning needs
• Track and assess student progress in line with department and school policies
• Create a positive, inclusive learning environment that promotes academic success
• Take an active role in supporting the wider school community and participating in CPD opportunities
• Maintain excellent communication with parents, carers, and colleagues
Salary
The successful candidate will be offered a salary in line with the teacher pay scale (MPS/UPS), depending on experience.
