Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Structural Engineer with an enthusiasm for Heritage and Conservation. This opportunity is based in London and would be suited to an engineer with experience in new build and conservation work (nearing chartered status).

The role requires passion for collaboration with all involved in projects, assessment of historic materials and liaising with specialists.

Your responsibilities will include:

Conducting structural assessments and surveys of heritage structures.
Designing and implementing restoration and preservation strategies.
Collaborating with architects, historians, and craftsmen to ensure authenticity.
Preparing detailed engineering reports and cost estimates.
Overseeing construction and renovation projects with a keen eye for heritage preservation.

About you:

A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
Proven experience in structural engineering, with a experience or interest in heritage conservation
A deep passion for preserving historical and cultural landmarks
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Knowledge of local building codes and heritage regulations
Dedication to excellence and attention to detail
