Job Title: Warehouse Operative
Job Type: Temp to Perm
Location: Biggleswade
Hourly rate: £12.21ph+ (depending on shift pattern, with a salary increase once taken on permanently)
Working hours:
- Rotational Shifts (Mon-Fri, 6am-2pm & 2pm-10pm)
- Night Shifts (Mon-Fri, 10pm-6am)
- Fixed Late Shifts (Mon-Thur & Tues-Fri, 12pm-10pm)
 
Our well known and growing client based in Biggleswade are looking for a number of talented candidates to join their team within their Warehouse on a Temp to Perm basis. Successful candidates must be driven, work well within a team, and come from a warehouse background with some experience.
 
Duties as a Warehouse Operative:
- Pick and pack customer orders
- Reviewing order sheets, ensuring correct items are selected
- Quality inspect products before picking
- Using a handheld scanner to pick items throughout the warehouse (training given)
- Maintain a clean and tidy warehouse, following strict Health and Safety regulations
 
What's needed as a Warehouse Operative:
- Ideally available immediately
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy loads
- Previous Warehouse experience ideal but not essential
- Able to work within a team and be a team player
- Good attitude and willingness to learn
