We are currently seeking a confident and capable Office Administrator to join a busy, fast-paced team in Stanford-le-Hope. This is a fully office-based, full-time role offering a starting salary circa £25,000-£30,000.
You’ll be joining a well-established, family run logistics company with a reputation for reliability and exceptional service within logistics and distribution. Working hours are 08:30-17:30 Monday to Friday.
This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations within the admin and bookings team, involving a mix of email handling, customer service, invoicing and general office support.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor shared inbox and ensure all messages are actioned promptly
Handle a variety of admin duties including answering calls and responding to customer enquiries
Support effective coordination between the admin/bookings department and the wider business
Assist with checking rate confirmations, rating jobs, and preparing and sending invoices
Other admin tasks include data entry and booking meetingsRequirements:
Previous experience in an office or administrative role
Confident using Microsoft packages including Excel
Willingness to learn new systems and software
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise a busy workloadOwn transport is required due to the location of the company!
