A leading civil engineering contractor is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to support the delivery of a major highways and earthworks package in Norwich. This 10-month project forms part of a key regional infrastructure improvement and offers consistent work with a well-structured site team.

Key Responsibilities:

*

Setting out for earthworks, highways, drainage and associated civils

*

Interpreting drawings and technical specifications

*

Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards

*

Managing quality assurance documentation and as-built records

*

Coordinating with subcontractors, foremen, and client representatives

*

Providing accurate progress updates and resolving technical site queries

Requirements:

*

Proven experience as a Site Engineer on highways or heavy civil engineering projects

*

Proficient in the use of GPS, total station, and AutoCAD

*

Valid CSCS card

*

SSSTS or SMSTS (preferred)

*

Civil Engineering degree or equivalent qualification

*

Strong communication and organisational skills
