Excellent opportunity for an experienced CAD Technician to join a well-established company based in Kingsland, Herefordshire

Salary: £30,000 – 38,000 per annum depending on experience

Job Type: Full Time / Permanent – Monday-Friday

The Company

They are a leading UK manufacturer and erector of commercial poultry housing, agricultural buildings and industrial steelwork. Due to an increase in contracts, they are expanding their technical design team. We’re looking for an experienced cad operator to work at the company’s Head Office in Shirlheath, Kingsland, Herefordshire.

Candidate Requirement

The ideal candidate will have a background working within the roofing and cladding sector. It is essential that you have a strong proficiency in AutoCAD

* Minimum of 2 years’ experience of using AutoCAD, preferably in the construction sector. 3D experience would be beneficial, particularly with Advance Steel or Tekla.

* Ability to produce General Arrangement and Fabrication drawings.

* Be able to read and interpret drawings.

* Be able to manipulate and edit drawings.

* Team player with good communication skills.

* Focused on accuracy, efficiency and attention to detail.
