Location: Norris Green, Liverpool
Start Date: 2nd September 2025
Contract: Full-time, Maternity Cover
Salary: M1-M6, dependent on experience

We currently working with a a warm, inclusive, and forward-thinking primary school located in the heart of Norris Green. This schools dedicated staff are committed to providing a safe and stimulating learning environment where all children are encouraged to thrive, achieve their potential, and develop a lifelong love of learning.

The Role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Year 3 Class Teacher to join our team from 2nd September 2025 to cover maternity leave. This is a full-time position, with the potential for future opportunities within the school.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that inspire and challenge all learners
Create a positive and inclusive classroom culture where pupils feel valued and supported
Assess, track, and report on pupil progress in line with school policies
Work collaboratively with colleagues to enrich the curriculum and enhance pupil outcomes
Uphold the school's values and contribute to the wider school communityWe are looking for someone who:

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Has experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (Year 3 experience desirable)
Demonstrates a strong understanding of the National Curriculum and effective teaching strategies
Is committed to promoting high standards and raising achievement
Is an effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills
