About Our Client

Our client, a well-established and growing residential developer based in Hertfordshire, is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to work on a diverse portfolio of high-quality housing developments, from initial feasibility through to final account.

The Role

You’ll play a key role in ensuring the successful financial delivery of residential projects, working closely with the commercial and site teams. Your responsibilities will include:

Preparing cost plans, budgets, and tenders

*

Managing subcontractor procurement and payments

*

Monitoring project budgets and reporting on variances

*

Valuations, cost reporting, and final accounts

*

Supporting project teams to ensure commercial objectives are met

The Ideal Candidate

*

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the residential or housebuilding sector

*

Strong understanding of UK building regulations and construction methods

*

Excellent negotiation, analytical, and reporting skills

*

Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar (preferred)

*

A proactive and organised approach
