Offering Circa £25,500 - £33,000 Basic Salary Plus Great Benefits

Our client is a well-established Engineering services company based in the Ripon area, currently recruiting a Maintenance Technician to join their engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the smooth running of machinery and equipment conducting maintenance and repairs when needed.

Maintenance Technician - Key Responsibilities

* Perform inspections of machinery and equipment and resolve issues before they escalate.

* Carry out daily safety checks on machines and document any defects or repairs undergo. Training will be provided on this.

* Assist with Health and Safety checks.

* Assist with general workshop maintenance and ensuring a tidy workshop.

* Occasionally assist with the needs of the business including driving company vehicles, helping with production, delivery and despatch.

* Conduct risk assessments before works are undertaken.

Maintenance Technician - Skills & Experience

* Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role.

* Experience working with electrics would be an advantage but not essential.

* A good attention to detail required for inspecting equipment.

* Some heavy lifting and manual handling required.

* Able to prioritise workloads and be comfortable working to deadlines.

The Maintenance Technician position is offering circa £25,500 - £33,000 basic salary plus benefits for the successful candidate. This is a full time, permanent position, working Monday to Friday 07.30 to 16:00.
