Job Title: Relief Security Officer (Static & Mobile)
Location: Various Sites / Peterborough & Surrounding Areas
Pay Rate: £12.21 -£12.44 dependent on site
Shifts: Days, nights, and flexible hours depending on site requirements
Job Type: Permanent – Relief

Are you a professional and proactive Security Officer looking for a varied and engaging relief role? We are recruiting Relief Security Officers to support multiple sites across sectors such as education, corporate estates, student accommodation, healthcare, social housing, logistics, utilities, and retail parks.

Key Responsibilities

Static Duties:

* Maintain full site security during operational hours

* Control access, manage visitor entry, and support staff and students

* Monitor and operate CCTV systems in line with legal requirements

* Act as a visible security presence and respond to incidents professionally

* Report any concerns raised by staff, students, or clients

* Support with general duties as required

Mobile Duties:

* Complete lock/unlock routines, VPI checks, access meets, and patrols

* Respond promptly to alarm activations

* Conduct site audits and liaise with static officers

* Maintain accurate records via mobile apps

* Ensure your vehicle is clean, safe, and well maintained

What We’re Looking For

* Valid SIA Licence (DS or SG)

* CCTV Licence (desirable depending on site)

* Full UK Manual Driving Licence (required for mobile duties)

* Enhanced DBS (or ability to obtain one)

* Professional, calm, and reliable with strong communication skills

* Confident using mobile apps and technology

* Previous experience in high-footfall or mobile security roles is advantageous
