About the Role
Excellent opportunity to be part of a global company based near Burnley. We are looking for skilled/time served Welder/Fabricators, ideally with TIG welding experience.
This is a permanent full time position working a day shift Monday to Friday, finishing early on Friday’s.
The rate of pay is upwards of £17.20 per hour and there is overtime available (generally Friday afternoons and Weekends) and that is paid at time and a half
Duties and Responsibilities
* Fabrication and assembly of stainless-steel machines.
* Working on steel tanks and pipework.
* Fabricating sheet metal sub-assemblies.
* Working on projects from start to finish.
What are we looking for?
* Time Served/Apprentice trained in welding and fabrication is desired.
* TIG welding experience is essential
* Able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
* Experience working on Stainless and Mild Steel.
* Be able to work as part of a team to ensure work in completed.
* Able to use your own initiative whilst working individually.
* Taking in pride in your work.
* Working to customer specifications and deadlines.
We are looking to interview all suitable candidates straight away and start the successful candidate as soon as possible in line with any notice period you may have to give.
Interviews will involve a basic weld test to gauge skill levels and you will be informed of all the details prior to any interview
