Multi-Skilled Engineer – Machinery for Food & FMCG Manufacturing

UK & Ireland Travel | £45K–£55K + Paid Overtime + Company Car

Are you an experienced Multi-Skilled Engineer looking for a role that offers real variety, responsibility, and travel across the UK and Ireland?

We’re recruiting on behalf of a leading machinery manufacturer supplying high-performance equipment to the Food and FMCG manufacturing sector. This is an exciting opportunity to join a skilled and passionate engineering team delivering installation, servicing, and support on complex automation and processing systems.

Key Responsibilities:

* Planned service and routine maintenance

* Attending machinery breakdowns – diagnose & repair

* Installation and commissioning of new machinery

* Electrical and mechanical fault finding

* Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and pre-delivery checks

* Workshop-based machinery builds and occasional support

What we’re looking for:

* Strong background in both electrical and mechanical engineering

* Previous experience in machinery maintenance or field service

* Willingness to travel frequently, including some overnight stays

* Confident communicator with a hands-on, problem-solving mindset
