Role Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with a specific student who requires additional support to access the curriculum and participate fully in school life. This full-time role will commence in September and offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on a child's educational journey.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide tailored support to a student with special educational needs (SEN) on a one-to-one basis.
Assist the student with their learning activities, ensuring they can access the curriculum effectively.
Implement individualised education plans (IEPs) and support strategies as directed by the SENCo and class teacher.
Monitor and record the student's progress, reporting regularly to the SENCo and class teacher.
Support the student's social and emotional development, fostering independence and confidence.
Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
Collaborate with the class teacher and other staff to ensure a cohesive approach to the student's education.
Attend relevant training and professional development sessions.Requirements:

Previous experience working with children with SEN, preferably in a primary school setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
A patient, empathetic, and caring approach to working with children.
Understanding of child development and learning strategies for students with SEN.
Commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of all students.
Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to undertake a new one. What We Offer:
