Job Title: Scheme Manager
Location: Wigan
Pay: £15.49 per hour (PAYE) / £19.44 per hour (Umbrella)
Hours: Part-time – 15 hours per week (3 days per week)
Contract: Ongoing temporary
DBS: Enhanced DBS required

We are currently recruiting for a Scheme Manager to join a well-established housing organisation in the Wigan area.

This is a part-time role, working 15 hours per week across 3 days, supporting the daily running of a housing scheme for older or vulnerable residents. The ideal candidate will be proactive, approachable, and passionate about providing high-quality support in a community setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the day-to-day management of the scheme

Act as the main point of contact for residents, staff, and visitors

*

Support residents to maintain independence and well-being

*

Ensure compliance with health & safety and safeguarding policies

*

Liaise with external agencies and housing teams when needed

Requirements:

*

Experience in housing, social care, or a similar support-based role

*

Strong communication and organisational skills

*

Ability to work independently

*

Enhanced DBS is essential
